people who are different, their time is coming
Asian dramas

I have been watching Asian dramas since late 2007 or yearly 2008. I can’t remember. The first drama that I finished was 18 vs. 29 but I remember watching about half of Why Why Love. I don’t know why I didn’t finish it then since it is one of my favorite dramas now.

The first drama that I feel in love with was Goong. That was the drama that got me really interested in Asian dramas and I have not been able to stop watching them since.

When it comes to dramas, I am mostly for those trendy, youthful dramas and I think all of my favorite dramas fall into that category in some way (or just all the way). I tend to like dramas about dreams and friendships, and the youthful-trendy drams tackle those areas most of the time. What I want most of all though is just  a drama that makes me laugh, shed some tears and feel something. It is very, very important that I feel something while watching a drama. I also like some OTP that makes me heart beat and melts my icy heart with their love and cuteness.

What I am mostly looking for in a drama is feeling or a heart, and just an enjoyable time really. I know that a drama doesn’t really have a beating heart but I think you get what I mean. I want to feel things while watching a drama. I want my heart to stop beating because something amazing happens or the couple that I like looks each other in the eyes and you can just feel that they love each other. I want to feel things.

Asian dramas (mostly Korean though) tend to do that for me. They tend to move me the most out of all of the genres of TV shows that I have watched. That is why I started to watch Asian dramas in the first place and why I still watch them today. Because I could feel an emotional connection with them more than I do with most other TV genres.

I love it when a drama makes me cry. I really do. Some people don’t like crying but I am not one of those people. I like crying, I like emotions and I am very emotional person, so emotional Asian dramas tend to be my cup of tea.

The best dramas make you both laugh and cry and everything in between. Some are even so good that you start to get all teary eyed when you hear the soundtrack. They make you feel something and they move you. The dramas on my favorite list did just that. They did everything that I ask drama to do. They are not all perfect but they all have a little piece of my heart.

This is the place where keep  a list of all of the dramas that I have watched over the almost 4 years that I have been watching these Asian dramas. And there is also a special list for the dramas that have a special place in my heart. A Special list for special dramas.
